Today we were blessed with a beaut 27 degree winters day. We seized the opportunity to treat the girls to a trip to Seaworld (with dad) while I ducked to the shops for a little bit of retail browsing.
I don't get to the shops as often as I would like, so I have a plan of attack when I do get the chance on my own. Power walking between shops is my preferred speed, on a mission you might say, just so I can pop my head into all of the them within my time slot (usually about 1.5 hours).
It is so refreshing to see the Spring trends coming into store with the brights and neons. After having dinner with a girlfriend on Saturday night, a topic of discussion was the "skirt shirt". I can feel it growing on me, but I do love the new coloured jeans...
Meanwhile the girls were having a ball, checking out Seaworld for the first time. The new dinosaurs were special guests and favourites, with penguins and polar bears a close second. I picked Summer up early and brought her home for a sleep while big sister kicked on and enjoyed a few rides.
With the day being bookended by a surf and a run, it is no doubt we will be all into bed early tonight. All very happy and satisfied campers...
