House proud

We have spent a lot of time in the past finding houses and renovating. It wasn't something that we set out to do, it's just that we found houses that were in the perfect location that needed some TLC . We have learnt a LOT over the years and I think we have finally nailed this one to suit our needs perfectly.

I have put together some pics of our current house (number 3) and the changes we made. This one was basically a gutting but keeping the framework and adding a extra level on top.

The whole process can get quite stressful at times, when your dealing with builders, tradesmen, weather and the unknown. There seems to be a decision that has to be made everyday from the large to the small. Far out, it is hard work, the never ending dust, living out of boxes.....in saying that though the whole process is exciting and creating something that is your style is so very satisfying.

I think we will be in this one for a while now and we look forward to many memories here.x

The kitchen did not use it's best asset of looking out to water so we knocked a few walls out and opened it up
