There has been a blank wall leading up our staircase that has been boring me to tears. It has no personality and needed some character. I had been coying with a few ideas which were either buying a piece of art that would cost an arm and a leg, cover a frame with some patterned canvas OR get the girls to create their own unique piece to be proud of....It really wasn't a hard decision, so today we went for it.
I chose these four colours to bring out the colours that were already used throughout the house...I know, very pop colour!
We tried to keep each colour separate, with it's own brush so it didn't turn into it's usual mixed colour of....brown.....
The instructions were to just spread the colours around, create some kind of pattern..We left each colour to dry a little before we started a new one.
Which kind of lead to this.....
Which is now proudly displayed here....
And what did it cost...around $35.....and the memories....priceless!
