Random weekend photo firsts

What appeared to be a lovely weekend relaxing at home, according to my iphone, there were in fact a number of random acts going on behind the scenes.

Photos that didn't quite make the final cut to be instagrammed, facebooked or tweeted but actually had a story more interesting than the photos first appeared.

1. Floral jeans..I found a pair that totally caught my eye and it was love at first sight.  The perfect theme setters for summer and a big step into the crazy jean brigade. 

2.  Hmmm, I use to look forward to going to the dentist every 6 months to get a clean but this visit was going to be different.  Yep, my first filling.  Even though it was only quite shallow it was enough to warrant a needle in my gum...don't mind me if I'm drooling...

3.  Being out in the elements in a major way my hair cops it.  Dry and damaged from the sun and salt it needs just as much love put back into it.  I had a brainwave of an idea with some old rosehip oil (did you know it only has a short shelf life) I bunged it in my hair and for the last two days it has been in a bun and nourishing my hair!

4. Well, this is not my first I always love a run in the rain, but it is a random shot that I don't even know what I was taking it of?  I did go out on my fave 12km hill run while the girls were sleeping on Saturday (Andrew was home if you were wondering), in the rain and it was bliss. For some reason I love getting out there and doing things the opposite to what the norm does..(like staying at home on the couch)
