Hot weather makes us do strange things...

What a weekend, it was a scorcher here with temps in the low 30's.  Something we were not entirely ready for but loving the feeling like we were smack bang in the middle of summer.

 

With family staying at Brunswick Heads we headed down for a quick hooroo but it turned out to much more momentous than that.  Perhaps you should watch this video and let me know what you think...

Now, before you label me a bad parent, Ella was totally not going home until she jumped off this bridge. There were about three backdowns and tears but she was determined to do it.  I should also add that this would be her second time after she jumped off at age 3.5 (she is 5 next weekend).  We had given her the rundown on trying to stay stiff like a pencil but the poor thing slipped on the post on takeoff and it turned out to be a not so pretty landing.

I had Summer on my hip so apologies for the shakeness, I did very much doubt that she would actually do it.  I think it is great and she is so chuffed with herself....she was pumped the whole way home!

Big week coming up with a trip to Melbourne, Ella's birthday and my brother gettting married next weekend.  Phew, I am just tired thinking about it..
