Well, I had to actually remind myself of how to get back into my blog it has been that long (only a week). Our Christmas is now officially over with all formal catch ups done with a sigh of relief. I preferred to relax and bask in the experience rather than document it, but I did capture some cute memories of the last couple of days, above.
For the first time my older brother hosted Christmas day with his lovely fiancee at his house. It was the first time both families have been together and was a great opportunity before the wedding in 2012. It was mayhem with kids running laps around and through the house while the parents busily prepared lunch. It was such a great day and we left (rolled) feeling like we had eaten enough food for the rest of the year!!
On boxing day we hosted lunch (well the venue anyways) for my husbands family which was equally as busy. The weather brought blue sky so fishing, swimming, trampolining and cricket watching (by the males) were top priorities. The kids blend so well together so it is quite an easy day to just sit back and soak in the day.
Christmas 2011, you were a goodie....and thank you Santa, you spoilt me rotten!
