Finding happiness...

It has been miserable weather to say the least in our part of the world.  Yes, it is fairly typical for this time of the year for it to be raining around Easter, which has made it very hard to plan anything outdoors.

In saying this though, I don't like to let the weather dictate my moods or sense of adventure so in these last couple of days we have found our own little rays of sunshine...

1+   Rainbows..I think we are very spoilt for rainbows, and this day was no exception.  A full rainbow and his friend.  The photo actually did not do this beauty justice, it was just magic to see in real life.  It is like an apology for what the weather just brought us...

2+  Clowns..Ella was invited to her kindy bestie's party on the weekend and there was a clown organised.  It was just so pure to see the kids with full attention (for so long!) and lots of giggles.  Real food for the soul.

3+  Getting out on the water...when it is raining, it is one of my fave things to do...your going to get wet anyways! Feels like you are going againist the grain a bit..

4+  Feeding the lorikeets.  These birds love the rain and seem to be a little bit tamer than others.  The girls were hand feeding them, had them sitting on their heads and patting them. So cute to see.

 
5+  Surprises...This little box of lovelies turned up on my doorstep today, and I have already hooked into them.  Bellabox is a membership program that for $15 per month sends out 5 samples of the most luxurious beauty products to hit the market. This month's theme is 'get naked' and it's all about bare faced beauty.

 + Yes to Carrots lip tint - this is a real gem with the scent and coolness of peppermint

 + Bellemer Eye Balm - I am a bit of a rosehip oil devotee but this easily rates up there.  I can't stop wanting to apply it!
 + Carmen's Chunky Muesli biscuit - well I had a nibble before the girls swooped...

So there you have it, there is plenty to be happy about when the weather does not want to play nice, you just have to search around for it.
