Trickin' it up on a weekday...

We have been living in our togs around the house these last couple of days, the weather has been beautiful to say the least so waterbabies all round....With rain forecast for the next couple of days,  I took the girls on a mini adventure..to them anyhow!



As I was walking on Sunday around the national park near our house, I came across this brilliant little creation on the beach, made up of all the washed up debris that was pushed downstream in the heavy rain. 

Unfortunately when I took the girls today, this is what is looked like.  They didn't know any better and had a ball anyways sifting though all the sticks and logs, building and fossicking.  It felt like we have been shipwreaked on a deserted island or 'chipwreaked' as one of one girls corrected me (slight chipmunk fan;)

How amazing is this piece of wood, shaped in the initial of the 'wouldn't know any better' holder!

There is something about going to the beach during the week that makes you feel a little bit rebellious.  So nice to have the whole place to ourselves.
